Houdini Particle Study
Millions of particles advect by pyro simulation. A simple sphere as both the pyro source volume and particle emitter. Pyro simulation has a buoyancy direction on negative y axis. The ground is the collision geometry so the smoke would spread out when contact. Then by using Advect by Volume node, the particle use the velocity from pyro simulation to drive its motion.
Colored according to velocity and alpha on transparency according to particle age.
